Study: Doylestown Hospital
Evaluation:
Doylestown Hospital's existing site was beginning to look dated, and was
not consistent with the image presented through a radio and print campaign.
The hospital needed a way for prospective patients to search through a
list of hospital-affiliated doctors. An online job search and application
was needed by the HR department in its continued effort to attract the
best doctors from the surrounding area. Finally a search mechanism was
needed to allow visitors to quickly find information on the hundreds of
pages that make up doylestownhospital.org
Solution:
Comcation's development team designed a new website for this client that
captured the unique feel of Doylestown Hospital. A view of the hospital's
atrium was incorporated into the design as a watermark that unifies the
site. Photos of the extensive collection of artwork found throughout the
hospital were added to various sections as well. A "Find a Doctor" application
was developed that harnesses data within the Pulse Line system currently
used by the hospital. It is estimated that our integration with this system
saved Doylestown Hospital $57,000 over three years compared to another
vendor's solution.
